The exceptional attention to detail on all of their pastries, especially the eclairs I devoured alongside a piping hot double espresso…thee perfect way to start my morning. Thank you so much, Eddy!

Best croissants in Princeton for sure. Slightly dense, warm and flaky. Self serve from a wood cabinet, very european feel. Great hot coffee, too. It was not busy when I went this past weekend. Someone on social media needs to give this shop the attention it deserves!

The owner is very rude and unprofessional. We ordered a cake for my dad’s birthday over the phone and were told to pick it up at 3 (he closes the shop at 3:30). We left early to pick up the cake and got delayed on the way because of an accident on route 1 so we called multiple times and tried to let him know that we would be a little late, but no one would answer the phone. We arrived only 10 minutes late at 3:10 and the owner had closed the shop and locked the door. He could see us knocking and waving through the window and refused to open the door. We had to go pick up a generic cake from ShopRite. I Do NOT recommend this place.

I called in the morning to order a cake for my daughter’s birthday. The baker was extremely rude on the phone but I still ordered a Mont Blanc as it was the only available cake in the «  chocolate » section. I said I would come around 1pm. At 1:15pm I called and left a message that I would come instead between 2 and 2:30 because I had forgotten the early dismissal of my child at school, but that he please keep the cake for me (could not pay on the phone as he does not allow credit card). When I arrived at 2:15, he was extremely rude. He literally yelled at me for coming at that time even though he acknowledged that he’s closing only at 3:30. I never saw somebody so rude doing business. Back home, we discovered the cake was not a Mont Blanc, but some kind of raspberry cake ! My daughter did not like it and did not eat it. I got several little pieces of plastic in my mouth from the cake too! Not going back.

Come early if you want croissants, they sell out quickly! Cash only. The pastries are incredible in taste and presentation and are clearly a product of decades of refining his craft. You can't go wrong with anything here, but I really enjoy the croissants, tarts, and oranais. Owner is pleasant and kind and did not have an attitude whatsoever. I am assuming he simply matches the energy he is met with.
